This Summer Internship 2026 at the CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CMERI) in Durgapur offers a structured research engagement for undergraduate engineering students preparing to complete their sixth semester by May/June 2026. • Candidates must have passed Class X and Class XII board examinations with satisfactory marks, preferably with First Division/Class.
• A minimum of 60% aggregate marks up to the most recent semester completed in the B.E./B.Tech. programme is required.
Required expertise/skills
Participants should demonstrate strong foundational knowledge in engineering principles applicable to their discipline. The selection process also includes a merit-based assessment to identify candidates with the ability to contribute to research activities within CSIR-CMERI’s R&D environment.
