The University of Oxford is seeking to appoint a Research Technology Specialist to contribute to advanced research infrastructure and technology development within a collaborative European research environment. This role is associated with initiatives such as ELIXIR-STEERS, funded through the European Union’s Horizon Europe Programme.
The postholder will play a key role in supporting and advancing research technologies, working closely with multidisciplinary teams across institutions. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining research tools and services, supporting scientific users, and contributing to the integration of cutting-edge computational and data-driven approaches within life sciences research.
The position involves collaboration with international partners, ensuring interoperability of systems, and contributing to large-scale research infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will also engage in knowledge sharing, contribute to technical documentation, and support training and outreach activities related to research technologies.
