General Description:
The University of St Andrews is seeking a dedicated Post-doctoral Research Fellow to collaborate with Prof. Bettina Bildhauer on a STAIRS-funded project titled “Gathering strong evidence and best practice recommendations as part of planned ICS: Changing menstrual policy and language through research on menstrual history and politics.” The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying a corpus of approximately 100 menstrual policy documents, conducting detailed analysis, and producing a comprehensive report of findings. The position offers flexible part-time arrangements ranging from one month at full-time to six months at 0.16 FTE. The role is available to start on 1 July 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possession of a PhD or near completion in a relevant field.
- Eligible to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available for this role).
Required Expertise/Skills:
- Strong quantitative and/or qualitative research analysis skills.
- Ability to conduct detailed document analysis and report writing.
Salary Details:
- Grade 6: £38,249 per annum pro rata
