The University of Liverpool is inviting applications for the position of Research Assistant (Grade 6) to join a dynamic and collaborative research environment. The successful candidate will contribute to an externally funded research project, supporting the delivery of high-quality academic research aligned with the objectives of the host department.
The role involves assisting in the design and implementation of research activities, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation. The postholder will be responsible for maintaining accurate research records, contributing to reports and publications, and supporting dissemination activities such as conferences and seminars.
The Research Assistant will work closely with principal investigators and other team members, contributing to the smooth running of the research project. The role may also include administrative and organisational responsibilities related to research activities, as well as supporting wider departmental initiatives where required.

Eligibility Criteria
- A degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., social sciences, life sciences, health sciences, or a closely related field)
- Relevant experience in a research environment or project support role
- Demonstrated interest in academic research
Required expertise/skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Experience in data collection and analysis (qualitative and/or quantitative)
- Ability to manage research data and maintain accurate records
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a research team
- Good organisational and time management skills
Salary details
£32,333 – £37,100 per annum (Grade 6)
