Project Technician-III
Indian Institute of Technology Delhi invites eligible candidates to attend a walk-in interview for the position of Project Technician-III under the Advanced Centre for Clinical Evaluation of Diagnostics of National Importance (Centre of Excellence), a research project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
This recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement No. IITD/IRD/199/2026. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to advanced clinical diagnostics research through mechanical engineering, product development, and prototype design. The appointment is purely contractual and is renewable annually or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. The project is currently sanctioned up to 30 April 2029.
Only one vacancy is available. The selection will be conducted through a walk-in test/interview. Candidates must appear in person with the prescribed application form, educational documents, work experience details, a recent passport-size photograph, and original academic and professional certificates for verification. Candidates currently employed at IIT Delhi or under IRD must submit their applications through the proper channel. A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks may be granted to SC/ST candidates as per applicable IRD norms. In the case of retired or superannuated government employees, salary will be fixed according to prevailing IRD rules.
[Eligibility Criteria]
- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Research & Development (R&D) and industrial product design.
- Experience in mechanical design, product development, prototype design, and engineering documentation.
- Candidates must attend the walk-in interview with the prescribed IRD/REC-4 application form and all supporting documents.
