General Description
The University of Strathclyde is seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join a dynamic and interdisciplinary research team within one of its leading academic departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality research aligned with the project objectives, including designing methodologies, collecting and analyzing data, and producing impactful research outputs such as peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
The role involves working closely with principal investigators and research collaborators, both within the university and with external partners where applicable. The postholder will also contribute to the broader academic activities of the department, including seminars, workshops, and potential involvement in teaching or student supervision.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a PhD (or be close to completion) in a relevant discipline related to the research project.
Required Expertise/Skills

Proven track record of academic publications or equivalent research outputs
Experience with relevant research methodologies and tools
Ability to manage research activities and meet project deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary Details
Salary will be offered in accordance with the University of Strathclyde’s salary scales for postdoctoral research staff, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
