University of Cambridge – MRC Epidemiology Unit (now IMS Epidemiology)
Cambridge, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid working arrangement available)
General Description –
The University of Cambridge’s Population Health Interventions Programme, hosted within the MRC Epidemiology Unit (soon to be known as IMS Epidemiology), seeks to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate or Assistant Research Professor on a fixed-term contract of 30 months. The successful candidate will contribute to a research agenda focused on evaluating and synthesising evidence on public health interventions to reduce consumption of harmful ultraprocessed foods (UPFs), an emerging priority in dietary public health. Complementary evidence synthesis work will integrate new findings with broader literature to deepen understanding of intervention mechanisms and support equitable population health improvements. This role includes opportunities for professional development, development of independent research ideas, and collaboration within a dynamic interdisciplinary research environment. University staff benefits include comprehensive pension schemes and additional services.
