General Description –
The Creative Bridges Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) offers fully funded PhD studentships focused on research at the intersection of the creative industries and digital technologies. This innovative doctoral programme is designed to develop researchers capable of bridging the gap between creative practice and advanced technological development.

The CDT is a collaborative initiative involving multiple UK universities and industry partners, providing an interdisciplinary research environment that combines academic rigor with real-world application. Eligibility Criteria –

  • A First or Upper Second Class Honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as computer science, creative technologies, digital media, design, or related fields
  • A Master’s degree is desirable but not always mandatory
  • Demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary research combining creativity and technology
  • Applicants must meet UKRI eligibility requirements, including residency criteria where applicable
  • Proof of English language proficiency for non-native speakers
