Project Title
Synthesis and Assessment of Novel Fused Beta-Carbolines for Treating Chronic Pain
Job Description
The selected candidate will:
- Synthesize chemical compounds following contemporary synthetic organic chemistry techniques
- Prepare chemical libraries for biological activity screening
- Conduct laboratory-based experimental research
- Assist in project-related documentation and reporting
Essential Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry / Chemistry (with Organic Chemistry as major)
- Minimum 55% marks
- Qualified NET/GATE
Desirable Qualifications
- Strong academic record
- Prior project work during M.Sc. or relevant summer internship experience
- Hands-on laboratory experience
- Practical knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry techniques
- Only candidates willing to join immediately, if selected, should apply
Age Limit
- Maximum 28 years
Age Relaxation:
Up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, women, and physically handicapped categories as per rules.
Fellowship
- ₹37,000 per month (First & Second Year)
- ₹42,000 per month (Third Year)
- HRA (20%) as applicable
