Guest Faculty – B.Com (Vocational) & B.Voc in Tourism and Hospitality Management

General Description
The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), established by an Act of Parliament and inaugurated in 2009, invites applications for Guest Faculty positions in the Departments of B.Com (Vocational) and B.Voc in Tourism and Hospitality Management. The appointment is on a contractual basis, offering flexible engagement for teaching. Selected candidates will deliver courses, guide students, and contribute to academic activities within the respective programs. Superannuated teachers up to 70 years of age are eligible for engagement.
Eligibility Criteria
B.Com (Vocational): M.Com with a minimum of 55% marks and NET/Ph.D., preferably with relevant industrial or teaching experience.
B.Voc in Tourism and Hospitality Management: Master’s degree with 55% marks in Management, Tourism, or related field, with NET/Ph.D. and/or industrial experience.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree from an Indian University or an accredited foreign university with SLET/NET/Ph.D. and/or relevant industrial experience.
Required expertise/skills
Proven academic competence in the relevant subject area.
Ability to deliver high-quality teaching and engage effectively with students.
Practical experience in the respective industry is desirable, particularly for B.Voc programs.
Salary details
₹500 per teaching hour, subject to a maximum of ₹25,000 per month.
