General Description
Airbus India is offering a full-time Gen AI Intern position to contribute to advanced generative artificial intelligence initiatives focused on large language models (LLMs), fine-tuning processes, and production deployment. This role is based on-site in Bangalore, India, and will involve working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to research, implement, optimize, and deploy AI/LLM solutions. Key responsibilities include engaging with state-of-the-art techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), assisting with data preparation for fine-tuning, setting up pipelines for fine-tuning and quantization, participating in training transformer models, contributing to internal LLM orchestration frameworks, supporting model deployment and monitoring in production environments, and documenting workflows and findings. Applicants will also be expected to adhere to professional development practices and contribute to knowledge sharing efforts.
Eligibility Criteria
• Currently pursuing a B.E/B.Tech or M.Tech/M.E degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related technical field.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with data wrangling and preprocessing.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector databases.
• Good understanding of transformer architectures, embeddings, and tokenizers.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development best practices.
• This internship is exclusively available for candidates in India.
Required Expertise / Skills
• Strong Python programming capability.
• Data preparation and preprocessing experience.
• Familiarity with LLM-related tools and frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, VectorDB).
• Understanding of transformer architectures and fine-tuning methods including RAG.
• Experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proficiency in version control (Git) and software engineering practices.
• Ability to document technical processes clearly.
