KU Leuven is offering a fully funded PhD position in Biomedical Sciences within its internationally renowned research environment. The doctoral researcher will design and conduct experimental studies, analyse and interpret complex biological data, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field through high-quality publications. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate research records, collaborating with team members and external partners, and presenting findings at scientific conferences and seminars. The candidate may also assist in teaching-related activities, including supporting laboratory sessions and mentoring students.

Eligibility Criteria
- A Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Medicine, or a closely related discipline
- Strong academic performance and demonstrated research interest in biomedical sciences
- Motivation to pursue a PhD in a rigorous and collaborative research environment
Required Expertise/Skills
- Solid foundation in molecular biology, cell biology, or related biomedical disciplines
- Experience with laboratory techniques relevant to biomedical research
- Ability to design experiments and analyse scientific data
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary research team
