The University of Sussex, in partnership with Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS), is seeking to appoint a Clinical Senior General Practice Teaching Fellow on a part-time basis. This position is situated within a dynamic academic and clinical training environment and is designed to support the delivery of high-quality medical education within general practice.

The role involves contributing to the teaching and assessment of undergraduate medical students, with a particular focus on general practice education. The postholder will be responsible for facilitating clinical teaching sessions, supporting curriculum delivery, and engaging with students to enhance their learning experience in primary care settings. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of teaching materials, assessment processes, and ongoing curriculum improvement initiatives.

Working within BSMS, the role offers an opportunity to collaborate with academic staff, clinicians, and administrative teams to ensure excellence in medical education. Applicants must be qualified General Practitioners with appropriate clinical registration and experience in UK primary care. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to medical education and have experience or a strong interest in teaching undergraduate medical students.

Salary details 
GP01 of the GP Educator pay scale: £89,537 to £118,665 per annum (pro rata for part-time role)
