The Manipal Institute of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts (MISHA), a constituent unit of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in its Department of Psychology. MAHE is a self-financing higher educational institution recognized as an Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University (IoE) by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

A First Class Master’s Degree and a PhD degree in Psychology or a relevant discipline from a highly ranked, nationally or internationally recognized university.
A mandatory minimum of 1 to 2 years of post-PhD teaching experience at a reputed university or institute relevant to the candidate’s research field.
Specialization and academic teaching expertise in Psychology.
Demonstrated research expertise with a minimum of three research publications in highly reputed national or international journals.
Specific focus on qualitative research oriented towards the humanities and social sciences.
Strong academic, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
