General Description
European University Cyprus is inviting applications from highly qualified legal scholars for multiple academic positions within its School of Law at the EUC Athens Branch in Greece. These full-time roles are open to experienced academics across a range of legal disciplines, including constitutional, civil, criminal, administrative, labour, private, corporate, international, European and related emerging fields such as environmental law, human rights law, technology law and legal informatics. Applicants will contribute to teaching, research, curriculum development and the broader academic mission of the School of Law. The appointments will report to relevant academic leadership within the School of Law and are intended to strengthen the institution’s teaching and research profile across undergraduate and postgraduate legal programmes. Candidates should demonstrate strong academic credentials, research output, and a commitment to excellence in both legal education and scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
• Doctoral degree (PhD) in Law or equivalent in a relevant legal discipline.
• Minimum of three years of post-doctoral university teaching and research experience for entry-level academic posts.
• Demonstrated research activity and publication record in reputable academic journals.
• Fluency in English and, where applicable for Greek-taught programmes, fluency in Greek.
• Eligibility to work within the European Union.
• Academic expertise in one or more of the listed legal areas such as constitutional law, public law, civil law, criminal law, administrative law, labour law, corporate law, private law, international law, European law, human rights law, environmental law, technology law, legal informatics and data protection law.

• Proven capability in university-level teaching and curriculum delivery across various legal subjects.
• Strong research, analytical and academic writing skills.
• Ability to contribute to programme leadership, course design and academic development.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills suitable for both academic and external professional audiences.
