The University of Glasgow is inviting applications for the role of Research Associate within its vibrant research community. This full-time, fixed-term post is designed for a researcher ready to take a pivotal role in advancing scholarly inquiry and contributing to high-quality, impactful research projects. Based within one of the university’s academic units, the successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team, engaging in research activities that span planning, conducting, analysing and interpreting research data. You will play an active role in documenting research output, preparing reports, and contributing to publications that support the project’s academic objectives and influence wider scholarly conversations. This position offers the opportunity to establish or strengthen an independent research profile while collaborating with experts in the field and engaging with the academic community. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should hold a PhD (or have submitted their thesis) in a relevant discipline suitable for the research area in which they will be employed. A strong record of research experience and the ability to engage in rigorous academic work are expected.

Salary details
Salary for this post is at Grade 7, within the range of approximately £41,064 to £46,049 per annum, reflecting experience and qualifications appropriate for an early-career research position.
