An exciting full-time, fixed-term opportunity at the University of Liverpool invites an early-career researcher to join the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Institute of Systems, Molecular and Integrative Biology within the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics. This role is oriented around contributing to high-quality research projects that advance understanding in health sciences, working alongside academic colleagues in a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment. General Description
The successful candidate will support and lead components of a defined research agenda within the institute, engaging in experimental design, data collection and analysis, interpretation of findings, and dissemination through scholarly outputs. You will work closely with supervisors and research teams to deliver project milestones and contribute to publications and presentations. The role emphasizes rigorous scientific inquiry, teamwork, and the ability to communicate research findings clearly to academic peers and stakeholders. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should hold a PhD (or have submitted a thesis with an expected award before or shortly after appointment) in a relevant discipline within the life sciences, biomedical sciences, pharmacology, systems biology or related fields, demonstrating appropriate academic and research preparation for post-doctoral research.

Salary Details
Annual salary is in the range of approximately £39,906 to £46,049, commensurate with experience and in line with grade 7 research staff benchmarks.
