Postdoctoral Fellowship – Theory of Neural Networks
Host Institution: International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste, Italy
Research Group: Quantitative Life Sciences (QLS) Programme
Principal Investigator: Prof. Jean Barbier
Research Theme
Theoretical and quantitative approaches to neural networks and high-dimensional learning systems.
Project Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Quantitative Life Sciences Programme at ICTP. The successful candidate will contribute to an ERC-funded project focused on developing theoretical frameworks for understanding neural networks using tools from statistical physics, random matrix theory, and high-dimensional statistics.
The postdoc will work closely with the PI and collaborators to develop analytical results, validate them through numerical simulations, and publish findings in leading journals.
