Project Title
“Development of Fast Fault Detection and Location Estimation Scheme for Low-Voltage DC Microgrids” (ANRF-sponsored project)

Nature of Work

• Research on protection and control of LVDC microgrids 
• Fault detection, location estimation, and modelling 
• Work on renewables (solar PV), power electronics converters, AI/ML algorithms in power systems.

Essential Qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering 
• M.E/M.Tech in the same disciplines is preferred, but B.E/B.Tech alone can be considered (as per ad). 
• GATE qualified

Desirable Experience

• Basic knowledge of power system protection 
• Exposure to microgrid dynamics & control, renewables, converters, AI/ML in power systems 

Age Limit

• Up to 35 years (as on closing date; with relaxations as per Govt norms). 

Salary

• • ₹37,000 per month for first 2 years (JRF) 

• ₹42,000 per month in 3rd year (SRF), for GATE-qualified candidates
