National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for the position of Project Assistant. The appointment is purely on a temporary and contractual basis for a sponsored research and development project operating within the institute.

Selected candidates will contribute to project implementation, data collection, experimental setup, analysis, and administrative or technical support under the guidance of the Principal Investigator (PI). Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

• Applicants must have secured First Class with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or a 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale.

• Age Limit: Maximum age limit of 35 years (age relaxations applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women candidates as per Government of India guidelines).

Required expertise/skills

• Strong fundamental knowledge in the relevant engineering or technical domain.

• Proficiency in technical documentation, data entry, and project handling software tools.

• Hands-on practical skills and exposure to relevant software tools, simulation environments, or laboratory equipment.

• Good communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills to work effectively within a research group.

Salary details Consolidated pay of ₹25,000/- per month.
