Queen Mary University of London invites applications for a Research Fellow position focused on advanced computational and applied research within a multidisciplinary academic environment. The Research Fellow will work closely with principal investigators and academic teams to support ongoing funded research projects. Responsibilities may include managing research datasets, developing computational models or experimental frameworks, contributing to grant reporting, and assisting in the preparation of future funding proposals. The role requires a strong commitment to research excellence and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative academic environment.

Eligibility Criteria

• PhD in a relevant discipline or equivalent research experience
• Strong academic background in a field relevant to computational, scientific, or applied research
• Demonstrated experience in research design, implementation, and analysis
• Evidence of scholarly output such as peer-reviewed publications is desirable
• Experience working within an academic or research-intensive environment is preferred
• Applicants must demonstrate the ability to meet the expectations of a postdoctoral-level research role

Required Expertise/Skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative research skills
• Experience with computational methods, statistical analysis, or relevant technical tools
• Ability to manage and analyse complex datasets
• Proficiency in relevant programming or modelling environments where applicable

Salary Details

Salary is in accordance with Queen Mary University of London research fellow pay scales and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
