SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur Campus, invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor for the academic year 2025–2026. The recruitment is open under the School of Computing across the Department of Computational Intelligence, Department of Computing Technologies, Department of Data Science and Business Systems, and Department of Networking and Communications.
SRMIST is a private deemed-to-be university established in 1985 as SRM Engineering College and granted university status in 2002. The institution has been accredited with an A++ grade by NAAC and has received significant national and international recognition, including ranking positions in QS World University Rankings and NIRF across Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Law, Agriculture, Research, and Overall University categories.
Selected candidates will be expected to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, curriculum development, research activities, student mentoring, academic projects, institutional development initiatives, and emerging technology-driven academic programs. Faculty members will also be encouraged to publish research papers, contribute to funded projects, and support innovation-oriented academic activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- M.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or a relevant field from a recognized university
- Candidates with 0 to 10 years of experience are eligible to apply
- Strong academic background and research orientation preferred
- Good communication, presentation, and mentoring skills
