The University of Exeter is offering a fully funded PhD studentship focused on “Modulating Skeletal Muscle Bioenergetics and Exercise.” This research opportunity is designed for candidates interested in advancing knowledge in physiological, biomedical, and exercise science domains, with a particular emphasis on skeletal muscle metabolism and bioenergetics.

The successful candidate will undertake an intensive research project under expert supervision, contributing to cutting-edge developments in the understanding of muscle function, energy systems, and exercise physiology. Applicants must also meet residency and English language requirements as specified by the University. Candidates whose first language is not English must provide valid proof of English language proficiency.

Salary Details
The studentship includes full coverage of UK tuition fees and provides an annual tax-free stipend of at least £21,805.
