Eligibility Criteria –
Applicants must hold, or expect to obtain, a first-class or high upper second-class honours degree (or international equivalent) in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline
Candidates should meet the University of Cambridge’s English language requirements
A strong academic background in relevant technical areas is essential
Required Expertise/Skills –
Knowledge of optical communications, networking, or photonics
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Programming skills and familiarity with simulation tools are desirable
Ability to conduct independent research and work collaboratively within a research team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
