Adichunchanagiri University (ACU), BG Nagar, a multidisciplinary state private university established under the Karnataka Act No. 18 of 2013, invites applications from qualified, experienced, and research-oriented academicians for faculty positions for the academic year 2026–2027. The university operates across diverse disciplines including Engineering, Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Natural Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences, and is located along the Bengaluru–Hassan National Highway (NH-75) with strong connectivity to Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan, and Tumkur.
The current recruitment drive is for the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, specifically in the departments of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information Science and Engineering (ISE), and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI & ML). The institution is seeking candidates with strong academic credentials, teaching experience, and research capabilities aligned with emerging technological domains.
Selected faculty members will be expected to contribute to academic excellence through teaching, research publications, consultancy projects, innovation activities, patent development, and participation in institutional development initiatives such as Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) and multidisciplinary research programs. The university places strong emphasis on R&D output, academic leadership, and industry collaboration.
Eligibility Criteria
• Ph.D. is mandatory in the relevant discipline
• First Class Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in appropriate branch of Engineering/Science
• Strong academic record throughout education
• For Assistant Professor: Minimum 2 years of experience
• For Associate Professor: Minimum 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years post-Ph.D.
• For Professor: Minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years as Associate Professor
Required Expertise / Skills
• Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science
• Programming skills such as Python (for relevant disciplines)
• Research publications and academic contributions
• Experience in handling funded projects, consultancy, or innovation activities
• Ability to contribute to patents, startups, and entrepreneurship initiatives
