General Description:
Adarsh Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT), established in 2004 and affiliated with Bengaluru City University, invites applications for the academic year 2026 for Assistant Professor and Associate Professor positions in Management disciplines including Marketing, Finance, Human Resource (HR), and General Management. AIMIT is recognized by AICTE and the Government of Karnataka and has been ranked among the top emerging B-Schools in Bengaluru. The institution emphasizes academic excellence, research orientation, skill development, and industry-aligned pedagogy. Faculty are expected to deliver interactive lectures, facilitate discussions, guide MBA projects, organize seminars/workshops, develop course materials, and support student placements and corporate relations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- PhD / Master’s Degree / Bachelor’s Degree with First Class in all preceding degrees
- Specialization in Management or Commerce
- Strong academic record
Required Expertise/Skills:
- Assistant Professor: Minimum 2 years teaching experience; NET/SLET preferred
- Associate Professor: Minimum 5 years teaching experience; PhD desirable
- Strong subject knowledge in Management disciplines
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom engagement skills
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
- Research-oriented mindset with interest in publications
- Ability to deliver case-based and experiential learning sessions
- Knowledge of tools such as Excel, business analytics, financial modeling, or marketing tools
- Industry exposure or consultancy experience advantageous
