General Description
The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chennai, a Centrally Funded Technical Institute under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and an Institution Deemed to be University, has announced faculty recruitment under Advertisement No. 02/2025-26. The institute has over six decades of commitment to quality technical education, teacher training, and research in engineering and applied sciences.
Applications are invited from qualified candidates with strong academic backgrounds and commitment to teaching, research, and institutional development for the positions of Professor and Associate Professor across multiple disciplines. Selected candidates will be expected to contribute to teaching, curriculum development, research and development activities, academic administration, and institutional initiatives related to technical teacher education. Faculty members may also participate in consultancy, training programmes, and collaborative research projects aligned with the institute’s mission of advancing technical education and professional development.

Salary Details
Professor – Pay Level 14 (₹1,44,200 – ₹2,11,800)
Associate Professor – Pay Level 13A1 (₹1,31,400 – ₹2,04,700)
