General Description
Alpha College of Engineering and Technology, part of the Alpha Group of Educational Institutions, invites applications for faculty positions for the 2025–26 and 2026–27 academic years. The college has a 25-year history of shaping students into proficient engineers capable of meeting the evolving professional challenges. Vacancies are available in the Departments of Computer Science, Information Technology, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The institution emphasizes research and development, consultancy, patents, Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) initiatives, Innovative/Tinkering Labs, industry interaction, and value-added educational programs. Candidates from Pondicherry and Cuddalore are preferred.
Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Professor: Minimum 5 years of teaching/research/industry experience.
Associate Professor: Minimum 5 years of experience including at least 2 years post-Ph.D.
Professor: Minimum 10 years of experience including at least 5 years as an Associate Professor.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D., Master’s, and Bachelor’s degree with First Class in all preceding degrees in the relevant branch.
Required expertise/skills
Computer Science: Specialization in Data Science, Python, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.
Demonstrated ability to execute R&D projects and consultancy.
Experience in promoting patents, EDC initiatives, innovative labs, and industry collaboration.
