The University of Bath is offering a Research Fellow position within its academic community, based in Bath, England. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should hold a PhD (or have submitted for examination) in a relevant discipline such as psychology, behavioural science, social science, environmental science, education, or another field directly applicable to the focus of the specific research programme. A demonstrable record of successful research and evidence of relevant methodological expertise appropriate to the project’s aims are expected. Applicants may be invited to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and external partnerships.
Required expertise/skills
Proven ability to conduct advanced quantitative and/or qualitative research, including statistical analysis pertinent to the research theme.
Experience with data collection, analysis and interpretation in social, behavioural, or psychological research contexts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to produce high-quality academic outputs and engage with diverse audiences.
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders throughout the research lifecycle.
Familiarity with the research topic’s domain (e.g., climate behaviour, education, policy, or similar social science fields) and relevant analytical tools and software.
Salary details
Typical salary for Research Fellow roles at the University of Bath in similar positions ranges from approximately £47,389 to £56,535 per annum (Grade 8, pro-rata where applicable).
