• Applicants must be Indian citizens.
• Age typically between 21 and 24 years.
• Educational qualifications can range from secondary (10th/12th) to graduates and diploma holders.
• Candidates must not be engaged in full-time regular employment or full-time regular education (distance learning students are usually eligible).
• Annual family income must be below prescribed thresholds.
• Graduates from certain premier institutions and holders of some professional degrees may not be eligible.

Salary details

The consolidated stipend structure generally comprises support from the Government of India alongside contributions from the host company, amounting to financial assistance throughout the 12-month internship. Benefits also may include a one-time grant to support incidental expenses and insurance coverage under government schemes.
