Project Description

This postdoctoral position focuses on conducting high-quality chemical research within a funded research program at Tampere University. The successful candidate will contribute intellectually to project design, experimental execution, data interpretation, and dissemination of results through peer-reviewed publications.

The role offers significant scientific independence while working within a collaborative research group environment. Postdoctoral researchers are encouraged to develop their own research ideas aligned with the group’s broader objectives.

Methods & Approaches

• Experimental and/or computational chemistry (depending on project)

• Data analysis and interpretation

• Scientific writing and publication

Funding & Duration

• Fully funded postdoctoral position

• Duration typically 2–3 years

Candidate Profile

• PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field

• Strong motivation for independent research

• Proven ability to publish scientific work

Desirable Experience

• Experience with externally funded research projects

• Collaboration across disciplines
